Today I got paid!!! I had English and found out I got my entire senior breakfast paid for along with my knotts ticket! :)
I also picked out all of my fun classes today :) I’m not sure exactly what ones I’m doing, but it will be one of the ones I found.
I got a 31/30 on my government test too, whoopdeedoooo, I have my final on Tuesday~
Then I had practice, and Taylor took me home early ish. It was a good work out.
And then I reserved my moms hotel room for my graduation, and such. Plus I think Gavin is coming to my graduation! I’m so excited.
Anyway!

Called mom today. In reserving the hotel room soon. I had my last real choir class today :’) and tomorrow is my last English and government class before finals. I’m pretty bittersweet. Today I registered for my SOAR test, and I’m official a student at GWC! I’m going to type my PowerPoint tomorrow and my essay, yay. Get those outta the way. So excited for the picnic next week~

So today was nice! I got an award at school :) for 3+ years of performing arts! Plus I sang at both award ceremonies and got to eat out at Popeyes!
I had English, and government. Both classes were easy. Found out I’m basically done with homework forever now. Got into GWC, taking my placement test Saturday I believe, just math though thank gawd.
I also finalized plans for going to the concert with Chaye on Sunday, plus made an appointment with Cassidy to get my nails done on Sunday! I’m also writing lyrics for commission that I must finish by Sunday. I have 3 shows next week, and the senior picnic too :o at the pool! Yay!
I talked to my grandma today, too. She’s doing really good. Plus my aunt told her that the conversation she and I had was a very good one, and that just made my whole entire evening. I feel so much more confident with the reassurance of the positive outcome, it makes me feel content with where I am and my status with my family. I really do love them all, no matter how crazy and dramatic they may be. They’re mine, and even if we don’t see eye to eye, I only get one family in my life, and I’m pretty lucky to have the family I do. They care, in the long run. Blood is always thicker than water.

Today was a good day! I actually had a lot of fun today! I got to ditch first period, and sleep in instead, which totally made my day. And then when I got to school at like 10 AM, I got to have breakfast with Haley, and then go to English, finished all of my work early and just joked with my teacher about being a senior (my class is all juniors), and then I had a Red Cross meeting. I got to talk to Mrs. Fuschetti, who was my sophomore chemistry teacher, and I adore her. She and I get along really well, so it was nice just getting to chat with her about my life and how things are tying up for the end of high school :) She’s the advisor for Red Cross :D She’s an awesome person to talk to and ask for advice, and she’s really an amazing teacher and mentor for students.
After that, I went out to lunch and ice cream with Haley, Rocky, and Ashlie. We also all applied for jobs at Sweet Elle Cafe, across the street from Ocean View. I saw this cute lesbian chick (OBVIOUSLY a lesbian, trust me), and I was totally eyeing her, and Rocky, of course, was like “HEEL, HEEEEEEL.” and then I died laughing and embarrassed the hell out of myself xD We went to Cold Stone afterward, and then Rocky and Jessica drove me home in Jessica’s badass Jeep Wrangler~
When I got home, I applied for Golden West College finally, and I’m signing up for my placement test to take on Saturday, thank God. I put it off long enough, I HAVE to take it. I’ve looked into cars, I think I’m going to get a certified pre-owned Toyota, hopefully a Highlander, Rav4, 4Runner, or a Sequoia maybe. I like SUV’s…
I also updated my YouTube and Facebook page, hopefully I’ll get more fans :)

So I journaled but I accidentally deleted half of it.
Basically today’s been good. Went jogging and did ab work outs while blogging. Hehe. And I wrote a new song that I’m in love with that I’m gonna play at graduation! I’m happy. :)
And here’s the second half:
I’m going to be recording with Chaye this week some time and were going to the Vans Warped Tour Battle of the Bands finale on Sunday together! Plus these are my last 4 days before finals and graduation. And then I’ve got the band banquet, star awards, senior picnic, senior breakfast/knotts day, graduation, grad night, Disney grad, I’m playing a few shows coming up, moms coming to visit, so are my sister and brother and his boyfriend, and then four days of Integrity. So yeah. Lots of stuff!!! :) looking forward to a new day tomorrow! :)
The purpose of this blog:
I don’t care who reads this, it’s going to be a me only thing, and I don’t mind having anyone who reads my blog witness it. I’m going to start journaling about my personal strive to come to peace with myself and my journey to accepting the changes that are going to be coming in my life. Bottom line is that I’m terrified to grow up and be out of my safe little bubble of childhood that I’ve lived in my whole life. I’m terrified of making new friendships and drifting from old ones, I’m terrified of graduating, of being completely cut from my mom and 100% out on my own. I don’t want to be torn from my comfort zone, and so I’m going to make it my mission to do it on my own and to grow up and stop being afraid and to change my own future. I have a fear that I’m going to fall into the pits of despair after high school ends, so I’m turning that into my goal of successfully stabilizing myself come the start of school in August, and end my first semester in the winter with straight A’s.
My long term goals for the year:
1. Have a job and make sufficient income
2. Have a place to live
3. Have a car
4. Get a 4.0 GPA come the end of first semester
5. Lose 50 pounds/5-6sizes
6. Write 20 more songs
7. Have my EP finished and on iTunes
8. Take Passion in the fall
9. Have my Benchmark courses completely paid off, including paying Chaye back for Discovery
My short term goals for the summer:
1. Lose 30 pounds/2 sizes
2. Have 2 songs recorded and on iTunes
3. Have a job
4. Get a place to live
5. Make 5 new good friends that I never met
6. Learn from Integrity
Overall goals:
1. Stop blaming others
2. Take action in every aspect of my life
3. Stop being a whiny little bitch
4. Take responsibility for my self
5. Be accountable
6. Don’t take my own shit or anyone else’s
7. Have stamina
8. Have good work ethic
Now, it’s one thing just saying I’m going to do all of that, and it’s another thing to actually follow through, so I’m going to start making daily journals describing my follow through. It’s mostly so I can see what the next step is in completing a goal, and then proving to myself that I CAN do it and that I can finish what I start.
It’s a new day. I’m taking it one step at a time and doing what’s best for me. It’s time for change.
